**Your opportunity**:
The Partnerships team at the Department of Computer Science is focused on seeking, developing and maintaining internal and external partnerships that will enhance funding, research and mentorship opportunities and build new research collaborations in alignment with the department’s goals. The team works with Principal Investigators at the Department to help distribute information on new opportunities and to provide support for actualizing collaborations.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Disseminating information regarding research funding programs and opportunities to the research community
- Researching, analyzing and recommending grant opportunities
- Fostering positive relationships with project partners
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of recent and relevant experience in grant writing, technical writing, or acceptable equivalent experience
- Experience and proven track record of securing grants from government agencies, foundations, and corporations
- Strong technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
- Experience researching, identifying, and advising on research funding opportunities and collaboration
- Experience with industry and academic research related to the domains of computer science is preferred
- Knowledge of the specific industry or field relevant to the organization’s programs (e.g. healthcare, education, technology) is preferred
- Superior organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work under pressure and a constantly fluctuating workload and to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Principal Investigators, faculty, academic administrators within the University, and with external stakeholders and partners
- Ability to work with team members and contacts, and to exceed team and client expectations
