The Mennonite New Life Centre (MNLCT) is a vibrant, multi-cultural settlement agency for newcomers to Canada. The Centre provides a variety of settlement services, including information/orientation, language instruction, mental health supports and capacity building workshops, public education and bridging to employment. The Centre is a tech-forward charity that utilizes technology solutions to meet the needs of its stakeholders.

**About the position**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government entities.
- Write and edit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents.
- Collaborate with the program and finance teams to gather necessary information for proposals.
- Monitor and follow up on submitted grants, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
- Assist in reporting outcomes to funders, if required.
- Maintain accurate records of all grants submitted and received.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in grant writing (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research skills to identify funding sources.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with non-profit fundraising and grant cycles (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
