**Position Summary**: Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the Snack Bar Manager provides leadership and direction to our Oasis Snack Bar team.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Lead/manage the day to day operations of the Snack Bar ensuring it is fully operational in terms of both quality and adequate staffing to service guests.
- Manage Team Member work schedules, daily payroll and time reconciliation, monitor labour costs and review daily staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational and budgetary needs are met.
- Continually interact with Team Members to motivate and encourage them in the daily performance of their duties.
- Conduct pre and post shift meetings with Team Members.
- Assist Team Members in reconciling end of shift cash reports.
- Address and resolve all guest and Team Member concerns/suggestions in a constructive, timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with Sales to ensure details are executed for each special event and to lead the team in service and to complete the applicable group billing.
- Actively participate in recruitment, hiring and training of new Team Members.
- Complete evaluations, coaching and progressive disciplinary measures for all Team Members as required.
- Perform all administrative duties as necessary relating to the resort/human resources policies.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly facility inspections to ensure the facility and equipment are kept clean and in good repair (safety, sanitation, food preparation, etc.).
- Ensure all safety regulations are implemented and followed.
- Manage and accurately maintain inventory, ordering and product costs.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining waste and loss prevention controls.
- Ensure the highest level of customer services for guests at all times
- Uphold team appearance and grooming policies.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Food and Beverage.

**Professional Qualifications**:

- Completion of High School
- 1-2 years managerial experience
- Previous quick service food and beverage experience
- Smart Serve Certification
- Food Handlers Certificate

**Personal Qualities**:

- Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Must be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
- Must be computer literate
- Knowledge of food, wine and related beverages with previous up-selling/sales experience
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Exceptional standards of hygiene
- Exhibit a professional and positive attitude
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and as necessary to meet guest needs.
- Must have the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Must be honest and trustworthy
