Its virtual clinics in pharmacies enhance the patient experience by creating an integrated care model, to improve accessibility and patient outcomes.
Teledact is supported by the renowned primary care clinic, Enhanced Care Clinic, which has also been the Preferred Provider of Physician and Medical Clinic Services for McKesson Retail Banner Group (over 2000 IDA, Guardian, Remedy’sRx and other independent pharmacies) since 2017. Gotodoctor.ca is a preferred virtual care provider on all McKesson Retail Banner Group and Rexall consumer-facing web portals.
This role will report to the Project Manager. The Technology unit is dedicated to providing tools, training and support to our team to enhance the delivery of our work, setting us apart from our competitors.
**Location**:
- Virtual (50%); Thornhill and occasional travel to clinic sites and meetings when required.
**What Will You Do**
The Project/Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the projects are well organized, and the unit is able to meet the deadline and project requirements. They will communicate with various departments to keep all stakeholders on board about any changes to the project plan. In addition, they will organize reporting, plan meetings, create requirement documents, create charts, create use cases, create test plans and provide updates to project managers.
- Assist to develop, implement and oversee internal software tools and governance documentation, including related policies, standard operating procedures and terms of reference.
- Assist the Tech team to provide training and product support to the end user.
- Behave as the first point of contact when any stakeholder faces issues with a working software, and escalate the issue with the help of other team members.
- Monitor performance of developers and document the work performed each day.
- Assist in creating requirement documents and test plan documents.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports and ensure project management documentation standards and requirements are met.
- Maintain reports and dashboards with general project information, project status and risk / issue logs
- Engage with project stakeholders to discuss status of new and ongoing projects and provide updates on risks and issues; discuss and follow up on the agreed risk mitigation and issue resolution; provide project assurance
- Assist with planning project management related workshops and training sessions
- Assists other relevant projects and duties
**What You’ll Need**
- Post-secondary education in project management or information technology - Required
- A minimum of at least 1 years experience in a similar role - Required
- Prior experience using a Project Portfolio Management System i.e. ASANA, MS project - Required
- Working knowledge of a Health care or IT background would be an asset.
- Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work from various sources and work outside normal office hours to meet deadlines as necessary
- Keen and quick learner; able to assume larger scope and more visible or complex projects over time
- Effectively communicate results from research and analysis both verbally and in writing to business and other key stakeholders demonstrating command of all facts
- Demonstrated ability to manage and respond to competing priorities with input from manager; able to successfully operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and develop expertise through partnering and collaboration with business and technology experts
- A calm demeanor and attentive listening to understand client perspectives and needs and communicate to business partners using positive language skills
