We are seeking a Front of House Manager.

Do you like making drinks, talking to regulars, and managing a great team in a cool vibe—then we want to meet you

We are seeking someone with cafe operations and management experience to run our front of house program and team.

We need someone with strong hospitality operations experience in a high-volume specialty café, or small restaurant. As coffee is in our name and we take what we serve serious (but not precious), you need to know coffee and be excited to continue stewarding our program.

This role is full-time salary and tips position mainly focuses on operations. You must have at least 5 years’ experience in a hospitality leadership role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is looking to build with us.

We have a strong team of mostly senior baristas that you’ll be leading and hiring/training new people to join. You will oversee the entire front of house program working closely with the BOH Manager and owners.

**-Responsibilities**:

- Manage and lead a team of front of house staff, providing guidance and support.
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for front of house positions
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized facility inside and out
- Product quality control, development, and team training
- Working service hours and administrative management hours
- Scheduling and shift coverage
- Working private events in evenings/weekends
- Managing internal communications for staff to maintain a level of knowledge and service quality

**Job Type - full-time (40-45 hours/week) salary plus tips and bonuses**
- Be flexible to work weekdays and weekends between 7am-11pm and cover shifts
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Set a tone for the facility and hold yourself and others to it daily
- Have AT LEAST up to 5 year of experience in café management
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of the shop and business
- Be very fast and efficient while maintaining accuracy
- Be mature and confident
- Demonstrated commitment to creating exceptional employee and customer experience
- Have high problem-solving skills
- Clean and orderly
- Have a valid BC driver’s license and preferably a vehicle
