**Job Purpose**
- Provide high quality, manualized, evidence-based counselling treatment to children and their families, primarily for anxiety under the direction and support of the team psychologist
- Be part of an innovative, changing initiative aimed to transform existing approaches to treatment of anxiety in children

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Deliver manualized cognitive behavioural therapy to children, youth, and families via a team-based care approach, including (but not limited to) collaborating with psychologists, psychometrists, and physicians
- Manage a clinical caseload of approximately 25 weekly therapy sessions
- Administer and interpret assessment tools
- Interview patients, prepare case histories, conceptualize patient problems
- Chart within and maintain adequate records in an Electronic Medical Record
- Build a relationship of trust and respect with clients
- Attend team-based care meetings
- Contribute to ongoing program improvements by providing continuous feedback and incorporating changes into treatment programs
- May conduct research, publish papers and educational texts, deliver presentations at conferences

**Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in counselling psychology or social work (or equivalent) from an accredited in-person university program
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors designation as a Registered Clinical Counsellor
- At least 5 years clinical experience
- At least 2 years clinical experience working with children and youth
- Criminal record check for working with vulnerable populations

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

- Monday to Friday
