Summary

You will be responsible to support the end user and dealer network with innovative and customer-oriented approaches that will provide both best in class sales support and service. You are accountable for dealer development in the sales area, including but not limited to; product training, product demonstrations, dealer performance, stocking and sales targets and ultimately preparing and implementing a 3-5-year business plan.

Education/Experience
- University degree in Agriculture, Engineering or Business
- An acceptable combination of education and work experience
- Knowledge and experience of current farming practices and equipment are essential

- Strong written and oral communication
- High energy and the ability to handle highly seasonal customer demands.
- Adaptability and flexibility able to handle multiple customers demands and multiple products from primarily a sales perspective but also a service perspective

- Experience with agricultural equipment
- Familiarity and experience with farming practices
- Post-secondary education in Agriculture is preferred
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events.
- Experience in ag electronics
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Hold a passport or have the ability to attain one

Accountabilities
- Develop the dealer network to ensure adequate representation within the sales area
- Implement and follow up dealer stocking and sales objectives
- Ensure dealer sales staff has adequate product knowledge
- Assist dealer staff on sales calls with end users as required
- Participate in product launches, trade shows and company training events
- Provide regular feedback on market movements including competitive activities, programs, lost sales, conquest sales, threats, and opportunities
- Assist, when necessary, product quality and performance issues for customers and dealers
- Ensure dealers follow company policies, and completion of factory issued bulletins,
- Provide timely feedback to internal departments on customer/dealer concerns and issues
- Other as required by Head office

Work Conditions
- Up to 50% travel both domestically and internationally
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
- Ability to work in occasional stressful situations
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
