**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and marinating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain safety standards
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed
- Participate in catering events as required, assisting with meal preparation and serving

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a line cook is preferred
- Background in the food industry with restaurant or kitchen experience is essential
- Culinary experience with strong knife skills is highly valued
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and catering services is a plus
