Accounting Manager

**Location: Laval, QC—Possibility to work from home #LI-Remote**

Working in the ecommerce sector, we are currently looking for a Accounting Manager to join our team.
**Main responsibilities**:

- Actively participate in the preparation of the accounting cycle, month-end process and financial statement preparation;
- Follow up on customer contract billing and prepare billing requests;
- Prepare and review GL entries;
- Produce and review accounting analyses, accruals and prepaid expenses analyses and deferred revenue calculations;
- Actively participate in monthly financial forecasting and annual budget preparation;
- Explain and document variations between monthly results and forecasts;
- Work closely with other departments for various requests or analyses;
- Participate in the management of inter-company transactions;
- Respond to auditors' requests during the quarterly audit process;
- Improve, automate and document month-end processes.

**Desired profile**:

- Excellent Excel skills and ability to adapt to accounting systems;
- Ability to function effectively in a multi-national organization;
- Ability to work under pressure with deadlines;
- Meticulous and precise in his/her work;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central software (asset);
- Experience in the technology field (asset);
- Very good oral and written communication skills in French and English;
- Good team spirit and collaboration;
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment;
- Strong sense of priorities and excellent ability to support a team in its management of priorities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in administration/accounting or equivalent;
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- CPA designation (asset).
