Shipping Admin Assistant

**JOB PURPOSE**
**Salary of: $19.76/hr**
The **Shipping Admin Assistant** is responsible for efficient customer service in our Shipping department. This position will have essential functions and be responsible for providing general support as required to our shipping/receiving operations.
**Assigned Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times;
- Ensure accuracy of Shipments and purchase orders at all times;
- Receive and manage deliveries documentation, cash and checks from delivery drivers;
- Support the shipping & receiving efforts as required;
- All other related tasks.
**Success Factors**
- Warehouse background: Your experience in a shipping/receiving role in a warehouse environment will allow you to assume your responsibilities without any difficulty;
- Physical abilities: You have an excellent physical condition and you have the ability to lift heavy loads (60 pounds or more) on a regular daily basis;
- Rigorous and meticulous: You pay attention to details and are very vigilant;
- Computer skills: You can easily work with a computer;
- Respect and a sense of humour;
- Agree to work in an environment where health and safety are essential and a priority;
- Communication skills and teamwork: You consider that communication is important in a working environment and you believe that collaboration drives workplace success;
- Be reliable, rigorous and able to take initiative.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
