Warehouse Lead

**Duties**:
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities
- Ensure accurate and timely order picking, packing, and shipping of products
- Fabricate and build pallets for shipment as required
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Train new Selectors on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Fluent oral and written English
- Ability to problem solve and grasp new concepts quickly
- Possesses the sense of urgency and able to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, GMP and HACCP requirements
- Accurate reading, writing and basic mathematical/counting skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good leadership skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reach lift and electric pump truck certification an asset
**Working Conditions (physical requirements, hours, travel, other)**:
- Capable of lifting up to 19KG
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and perform a variety of activities which may include lifting, bending, stretching, squatting, pulling; exposure to heat or cold, blast freezer
**Requirements**:
- 2-3 years experience in a warehouse or logistics role and managing staff
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to operate pallet jacks and forklift
- Team Lead Selector ensures all picking deadlines and priority cut-off times are met
- Reviews daily pick errors with Selectors
- The Lead Selector selects Baker St products to fill customer orders for delivery
- Perform daily product rotation in the staging area, freezers, and coolers using FIFO practices
- He/she sorts through damaged goods, organizes the freezers, rotates and replenishes stock
- Tracks and maintains productivity standards and assesses staff, supplies, and equipment needs
- Helps to attract and retain qualified and motivated workforce; while fostering new ideas for improvements
- Maintains an environment of respect and accountability to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- Perform every assigned operation in accordance with GMP practices and BRC regulations
- In addition to those noted in the Job Summary section, other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Inventory and Transportation Supervisor
**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
