Allcard Limited is an industry-leading innovative manufacturing company specializing in plastic cards. Allcard works closely with its clients to deliver exceptional service tailored to their needs. The plastic cards developed range from gift cards, loyalty cards, and membership cards to I.D. badges, promotional, premium business cards, and hotel key cards. At Allcard, they also provide collateral for their clients’ plastic card needs and an array of services to complement their clients’ card issuance program, such as design services, order management, inventory management, and fulfillment and mailing. Over the past 20+ years, Allcard continues to grow and expand.
We are looking for a driven, highly motivated, and reliable individual who is looking to join a fast-paced work environment.
**Purpose**:
This position is located at our Cambridge facility.
The purpose of this position is to assist the finance team with the accounting function for the company. It is also the first point of contact for the company and is responsible to present the company in a professional manner.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Enter sales orders into the accounting system as well as maintain and assign sales order numbers.
- Invoice orders as they are completed ensuring a high level of accuracy.
- Provide back-up for the Staff Accountant as required, providing support to accounts receivables and customer communication as required.
- File dockets in an accurate and organized manner to ensure they can be found when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Answer inquires to the company whether by phone or in person and ensure all security procedures are enforced for all visitors to the company.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and ensure it is distributed to the appropriate person or department.
- Maintain the reception and lobby areas ensuring they are kept clean and organized to present a professional image for the company.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Ability to present themselves in a friendly and welcoming manner, in person or on the telephone.
- Computer skills, including MS Office is required. Experience with accounting software is preferred.
- High school diploma is required. Post secondary education in a related field is preferred.
- Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processess is preferred.
- Detail-oriented and an Independent thinker able to function without constant supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
