**_BIS Safety Software_** is a fast-paced, high-growth software company providing solutions for the safety industry. We are expanding our team and seeking a full-time, detail-oriented, computer savvy accounting clerk to provide administrative support to our Sherwood Park office.

- Comfortable interacting with various stakeholders, including operations, sales and management, customers and vendors
- A team player with their colleagues both within and outside of the accounting department
- Committed to meeting deadlines, and shows initiative
- Possesses good problem-solving skills, strong math skills, and strong attention to detail
- Setting up and maintaining customer accounts and files
- Reviewing system generated billing for errors
- Preparing invoices and credit memos on an ongoing basis
- Posting and reconciling customer payments to general ledgers
- Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies
- Assisting with vacation relief as needed
- Assisting the Accounting department with other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year of accounting related experience
- Intermediate experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A good understanding of basic accounting principles

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
