**Job Summary**

Our Operations team is expanding and is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Project Manager to join our team

Our new Project Manager will be responsible for leading multiple projects, collaborating with our incredible team of talented individuals and working closely with our customers maintaining strong relationships and project quality.

**Company Summary**

Headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, InterTalk designs, manufactures and sells electronic communications equipment to public safety agencies around the world. In addition, InterTalk's equipment is used by railroads, airports and electrical utility companies to ensure the safety of their employees and to handle day-to-day operations, logistics, planning and emergency situations.

Under the direction of Operations, the **Project Manager** will be responsible for the following:

- Leading the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with company goals and commitments
- Supervising, facilitating, developing, and maintaining a productive and cohesive project team
- Ensuring all planned and/or amended work is carried out competently and effectively and that that all stated project objectives are satisfied within the time, budget and schedule framework
- Ensuring integrity of work scope and that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable project requirements, codes and standards
- Developing and promoting initiatives to improve cost effectiveness and productivity on projects
- Reviewing and approving selected deliverables produced by other members of the project
- Managing the project(s) budget(s) and resources
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the client and the Company
- Representing the Company at internal and external project meetings and/or events
- Establishing, maintaining and managing relationship with customers and third parties/vendors
- Acting professionally, fairly and ethically with third parties such as vendors and contractors with due regard to commercial and contractual responsibilities
- Maintaining communication between the team, stakeholders and customers
- Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Conducting post project evaluation and identifying project elements of success and areas for improvement
- Establishing and maintaining an awareness of Health and Safety
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and/or customer manuals, as required
- Providing status reports of all projects and/or site visits, as requested
- Supporting company policies and operations related to ISO9001 quality and ISO27001 data security standards
- All other related duties as required

Note: Travel will be required in this position, as needed throughout projects

**Required Skills**:

- Experience in budget development and tracking
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient computer skills: Windows, MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS VISIO
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership skills
- Collaborative work philosophy
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong problem solving, and interpersonal skills

**Experience**
- Bachelors or master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
- At least three years of experience as a Project Manager

**Nice to have skills**
- Experience in the specification, testing, certification and operation of radio consoles
- Working knowledge of Land Mobile Radio (LMR), IP, Microwave, UHF/VHF Radio, LAN/WAN
- Written and/or verbal French communication skills
