Relief Route Sales Representative

**Full Time - Permanent Role**

Days of work - Monday to Friday (No weekends)

Salary Offered - $48,000 - $55,000 + Bonus (Above average salary packages in the industry)

Shifts - 8 - 10 hours

**Summary Of Position**:
The Relief Route Sales Representative will be responsible for the delivery of products and execution of displays in support of the sales team. Responsibilities will include carrying out CVOR safety inspections of the vehicle, the correct loading of the vehicle with product and point of sale materials, recording of delivery information and customer signature, accepting payment for goods, and ensuring overall vehicle safety. The Route Sales Representative will always be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner, obey all rules of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Delivery product to customers to support the sales team
- Building/Merchandising displays as per standards of the Brand Partners
- Manage inventory by ensuring it is accurately maintained and reconciled daily
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Operating a Delivery Truck (G Class) and handheld invoicing system
- Loading product from the warehouse into the Delivery Truck

**Competencies**:

- Secondary education is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience
- Valid G class driver’s license is mandatory with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
- A safe and clean driving record
- Ability to use handheld devices
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively build relationships
- Ability to understand customer needs and concerns and win their business
- Demonstrated team playing attitude
- A selfstarter, taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required
- Exceptional time management skills
- Patience and reliability, with the capability to navigate through traffic and road conditions

**Working Conditions**:

- Driving a company Truck/ Van to our accounts
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Working outside in all weather conditions
- Cash handling and end of day deposits
- Travel may be involved depending on the area being supported
