The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for the management of both client and internal engagements to successfully implement varied IT and Business Projects. Leveraging proven implementation methodology, the Project Manager drives the delivery of services according to the agreed upon scope, timeline and budget and ensures a high level of client satisfaction. The Project Manager manages multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity, working closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure delivery. The Project Manager builds a constructive working relationship with the client and is accountable for deliverables, timeline, and budget, as well as coaching the project team to success.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects ensuring quality, on-time and on-budget implementation
- Plan, manage and communicate the progress of the project, achieving project milestones and maintaining momentum of the project
- Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate
- Execute all communication to stakeholders (client and internal) related to the change.
- Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.
- Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into procedures and processes.
- Utilize a mix of resources within a matrix environment to ensure maximum productivity
- Set and manage stakeholder (client and internal) expectations in regard to project scope and timeline, internal and client responsibilities, stakeholder roles and responsibilities, project governance (communication, change control, escalation), risk management and organizational readiness
- Present and manage sign-off of key milestones and deliverables, such as project kick-off, discovery, project plan, status report, steering committee report, change requests, user acceptance testing, client acceptance testing, events in transition, project closure
- Prepare Change Requests as required to capture change in scope and/or timeline
- Effectively transition customers to ongoing delivery
- Participate in project health checks and post go-live analysis on completed projects
**What we're looking for**:
- 5-7 years of Project Management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the benefit administration industry
- Familiar with traditional SDLC and Agile methods/practices
- Software development project experience
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
- Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
