Join us and build _your_ ambition. **ABOUT THE ROLE** As a Site Supervisor at our Stouffville Plant, one of Amrize's largest sand and gravel aggregate operations in Eastern Canada, you'll be at the forefront of our mining, production, and maintenance activities. Your unwavering commitment to health and safety will be paramount as you drive operational excellence to achieve peak productivity at the lowest cost. You will be a hands-on leader, fostering strong collaboration and consistency across all functional groups, including Safety, Environment, Land, and Manufacturing. **WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH** - Champion a site-wide safety culture, striving for a "zero harm" environment for all personnel and contractors. - Drive operational excellence to achieve optimal productivity and cost efficiency across all stages of the operation. - Lead and develop your team, maximizing individual and collective performance within a unionized environment. - Successfully meet production and maintenance demands through effective planning and resource management. - Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the plant and mobile equipment fleet. - Contribute significantly to the plant's financial performance by managing budgets and identifying cost reduction opportunities. - Optimize yield and profitability through strategic production and inventory forecasting. - Guarantee consistent fulfillment of customer requirements by coordinating seamlessly with sales, dispatch, and quality teams. - Ensure steadfast compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and environmental permits. - Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
