Stouffville, Canada Unionville College: Montessori, Elementary, and Secondary Full time

Unionville College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor, who will oversee all on-site activities to ensure that our new gym project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, including scheduling, quality control, and safety
- Manage and oversee subcontractors to ensure they are meeting project requirements
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure that project goals and deadlines are met
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records
- Communicate regularly with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress
- Participate in regular safety meetings and ensure that all on-site personnel adhere to safety protocols

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in construction supervision
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Proficiency in project management software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

**Physical Demands**:

- Stand, walk, and climb for extended periods, as you are often required to inspect various areas of the construction site.
- Lift and carry heavy objects, such as construction materials or equipment
- Bend, stoop, and kneel, as you may need to access low-lying or confined spaces on the construction site.
- Have good overall physical fitness and stamina, as the job can be physically demanding and may require working long hours or in adverse weather conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
