**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist attorneys with legal drafting, including motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Conduct thorough research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis to gather relevant case law and statutes.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
- Manage schedules, appointments, and deadlines for attorneys, demonstrating excellent project management skills.
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and clarity before submission.
- Assist in interviewing clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in an administrative role within a legal setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in legal drafting and document preparation.
- Familiarity with research tools such as Lexis-Nexis is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for client interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
