**A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE**:

- Responsible for the delivery of the Onboarding Presentation with assistance from other HR Team Members.
- Responsible for full cycle Recruitment for office staff.
- Manage the Attendance Policy on a week-to-week basis, providing feedback to Managers for any disciplines required.
- Handle the reporting and delivery of progressive disciplinary actions and attend meetings with respective Managers.
- Participate in Workplace Investigations. For any major incidents, report up to the HR Director within 24 hours..
- Ensure any personnel terminations are captured in the manpower sheet within 24 hours of receiving notification.p
- Assist the HR Director with any announcements to be made company wide.
- Managing Worksafe BC platform and claims system. Working alongside with Safety team to be updated on all the active claims
- Management of the Intranet website on a weekly basis.
- Management of any personnel detail changes in Bamboo on a daily basis.
- Complete all Employment Letter requests within 24 hours of receiving the request.
- Immediate follow up for any referrals received - communication with Recruitment Specialist.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or Business Management.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Working towards CHRP designation is an asset.
- Experience supporting staff in a manufacturing/ industrial environment is an asset.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skill
- Strong leader with exceptional written, verbal communications and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep organized
- Able to take direction and follow through completion
- Strong comprehensive skills
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
