Trotman Auto Group is seeking a **Human Resources Generalist for a 13-month maternity leave contract**. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about employee experience, compliance, and organizational development.

Position: Human Resources Generalist (Maternity Leave Contract)
Location: Surrey, BC (on-site)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

**Salary**: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
Contract Duration: 13 months

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer HR programs including onboarding, compensation, performance management, and employee relations
- Maintain HRIS and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Support managers and employees with HR documentation and inquiries
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) standards
- Update and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Conduct research and analysis on compensation trends
- Assist with HR projects and process improvements
- Update and manage the HR tracker and key HR metrics
- Lead and support various strategic HR projects
- Spearhead new initiatives and process improvements across the organization
- Stay current on employment legislation and HR best practices
- Promote a positive workplace culture through effective HR support

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or working towards CHRP
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR Administrator or Generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
- CPHR designation is an asset
- Experience in a high-volume, multi-location environment is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in change management and strategic HR initiatives
