Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Transport asphalt to and from job sites using asphalt trucks and related equipment
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of asphalt
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
**Daily Work Details**
- Plant is located in Saskatoon (No out of town work). Full time seasonal position.
Qualifications:
- Valid 1A or 3A license with clean driving record
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery in the construction industry, specifically with asphalt trucks and related equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the construction team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed
