**Overview**

**Responsibilities**- Transport asphalt to and from job sites using asphalt/aggregatestrucks and related equipment-
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines-
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition-
- Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of asphalt-
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road-
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance-
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times- Specific accountabilities- Ensure safety goals are achieved.-
- Comply with all company safety rules.**Qualifications**- Valid 1A or 3A license with clean driving record-
- 3 years of relevant experience-
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery in the construction industry, specifically with asphalt trucks and related equipment-
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals-
- Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the construction team-
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records-
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team-
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed-
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed**As part of our dedicated focus on the health and safety of all employees, a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, may be required.**
