Back Couter Parts Person, Yard Maintenance

Oneida New Holland, St. Catharines location is seeking someone to cover the back parts counter, yard maintenance and small equipment setup.

This position reports to the Parts Manager and Store Manager would be responsible but not limited to the following:

- Helping in all aspects of parts department as needed by parts manager or staff.
- Assisting walkin customers as needed.
- Answering incoming phone calls, assisting when possible or directing to proper department or person.
- Loading and unloading parts deliveries as needed.
- Checking all shipment related documents to ensure shipments are complete and accurate
- Receiving parts from various suppliers, putting parts back into stock and allocating on work orders.
- Receiving hand held equipment from suppliers and storing in proper locations
- Seting up, displaying all hand held and lawn and garden equipment. Maintaining a clean display area.
- Cutting and trimming grass maintaining grounds around building.
- Maintain outside equipment display, keeping equipment clean and displayed properly.
- Perform parts pickup and delivery as needed by parts or service department
- Registering all warranty for small hand held equipment as needed by store manager.
- Required to come in at 7:00am to ensure parts are recieved and put away before store opens for 8:00am.
- Required to work most saturdays until Noon during busy season approx. April - September.
- To the right person we will offer training to become a professional in Parts / Service, or Sales position within company.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- 2 years previous experience in similar position with a high degree of product knowledge is preferred.
- Willing to train the right individual if no previous experience in this position.
- Must be a team player with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and fellow co-workers.
- Knowledge of Agriculture would be an asset
- Must possess good written and strong verbal communication skills
- Able to work flexible and extended hours
- Must have valid G license
- Must be able to lift 50lbs

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
