As Team Lead, you’ll bring energy, sales expertise, and a collaborative spirit to inspire both guests and colleagues. You’ll share your passion and knowledge of wine, deliver consistently outstanding service, and help drive sales while building strong customer relationships. In addition to shaping the guest experience, you’ll serve as the go-to support for our established team, offering guidance and direction day-to-day. This is a hands-on leadership position—perfect for someone who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. **Responsibilities** **Wine Store Sales and Operations** - Organizing the day to day operations to ensure a smooth shift for the team. - Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of numerous areas in the building. - Working with the team to set and achieve sales goals. - Personal selling of wine and non - wine merchandise to guests. - On site customer service, including greeting guests, providing information about consumer experiences and wine products, and fielding general guest inquiries. - Wine store operations including completing transactions/customer purchases, preparing product packages, displays and stocking. - Accurate and efficient preparation of online orders for direct delivery. - Maintains and enhances a strong wine culture and quality image that befits the brand. - Educates guests on the history and current developments in the vineyard and estate. **Consumer Experience Sales and Operations** - Personal selling of consumer experiences to walk-in guests. - Executes vineyard tours to a high level of guest satisfaction. - Delivers tasting experiences to a high level of guest satisfaction. - Fields group/private experience inquiries. **Other** - Manage (or direct) customer inquiries via phone related to retail and consumer experiences when needed. - Assisting the Experience's manager in various tasks when needed. **Requirements**: - Exemplary customer service and sales skills - Must be able to lift 40 lb cases of wine - Able to stand for long periods of time - Professional attitude and a strong work ethic - A "can do attitude" and ready to jump in wherever needed - Available to work weekends and public holidays - Experience in the wine industry an asset - Smart Serve certificate an asset **Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time **Salary**: $18.50 to start (increase upon completion of 3 month probationary period) **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Store discount - Monthly Wine Bonus Day range: - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Shift: - 8 hour shift Work setting: - Liquor store - Specialty store Ability to commute/relocate: - Vineland, ON L0R2C0 **Experience**: - customer service: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - Speaks fluent English (required) Work Location: In person **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual Pay: From $18.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Store discount Licence/Certification: - Smart Serve (preferred) Work Location: In person
