**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced **Landscape Construction Lead Hand** to join our team in Vineland, ON. You’ll report to the Crew Lead and Construction Manager and assist in supervising a crew of 2-4 labourers. When the Crew Lead is away, you’ll be responsible for leading the team and keeping projects on track.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a 3-5 person crew in the Crew Lead’s absence
- Interpret and implement construction plans and blueprints
- Complete all phases of landscape construction projects from start to finish with mínimal supervision
- Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Coordinate daily tasks with management and occasionally interact with clients
- Anticipate potential issues and solve them proactively
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards

**Required Experience & Skills**:

- Minimum **3 years of hands-on landscape construction experience**:

- Confident operating:

- Skid steer
- Mini excavator
- Plate tamper
- Concrete saw
- Laser level
- Strong experience with:

- Interlocking brick pavers
- Grading and excavation
- Retaining walls and armour stone
- Minor carpentry
- Softscaping
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work independently and lead a small crew
- Valid **Ontario G-Class Driver’s License** with **clean driving record**:

- Must be able to **drive a truck and trailer confidently**:

- Reliable transportation to our yard in Vineland, ON
- Must supply your own **CSA-approved steel-toed boots** and PPE
