SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway.

Context:
As a Commercial Proposal Manager, you will join our talented team within SYSTRA Canada's Business Development department and report to the Director of Tenders. You will be responsible for the development of “Transportation” tenders across Canada, from the identification of the customer's needs to the signing and implementation of the contract, in collaboration with our three business units.

Missions/Main Duties:

- Manage and lead large-scale, strategic bidding projects, aligning business objectives with customer needs;
- Work as a team with the various stakeholders to successfully complete all stages of the tender process and produce technically relevant and financially competitive bids. Use your interpersonal skills to inspire and persuade these stakeholders;
- Prepare turnkey bids covering a full range of services (consulting, design, owner's engineering, etc.) and contractual models (conventional design, design-build, progressive design and build). Monitor schedules, bid costs and internal validation procedures;
- Coordinate with business referents in the rest of the Group (internal network of bid teams) to continuously improve the content of our bids and the performance of our process by sharing feedback and best practices;
- Participate in market research and strategic planning in collaboration with the Marketing teams (market analysis and strategy).

Profile/Skills:
**Training**: Engineering or business training.

**Number of years' experience**: At least 5 years in the transport sectors and/or in an intellectual services company.

**Personal qualities**:

- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken); English required due to activities outside Quebec.
- Leadership and results: Strong results orientation with proven ability to lead strategic projects independently.
- Influence and communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Rigor, precision and organization: Highly rigorous and organized to manage complex schedules and technical details.
- Strategic vision: Ability to analyze and synthesize, with a strategic vision and the ability to formalize effective action plans.
- Versatility and adaptability: Good team spirit and ability to work in a multicultural environment to manage complex projects in short periods.
