We are currently seeking a Receiving Team Lead, AM Shift (7:00am - 2:45pm) who can be nice, will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey.

The Receiving Team Lead for Roots will be responsible for the following:

- Leading the daily receiving operation of the Receiving Dock.
- Offloading, sorting, checking trailers and preforming unit dimensional inputs into the system.
- Ensure all POs are verified and closed. Record carton counts, validate actual receipt to packing slips to ensure accuracy of goods entering the Distribution Center.
- Communicate with receiving admin team once container is completed.
- Ensuring that operational procedures are being followed.
- Maintaining a healthy and safe environment.
- Investigate physical discrepancies.
- All other duties assigned by management.
- Prefer a mínimal of a 2+ year college program/diploma in related business/logistics field or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Overall understanding and experience working in a distribution centre environment with a warehouse management system.
- Ability to remain calm and balanced in fast-paced situations.
- Demonstrates knowledge, credibility, and confidence with a willingness to share knowledge.
- First Aid and Forklift certification would be assets.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, using discretion, respect and team spirit when making decisions.
- Exhibits autonomy and takes initiative with daily tasks while also being a team player.
- Compliance with work instructions and health and safety standards
- Overtime as required based on seasonal business needs (this may include weekends during peak periods).

**This role is eligible for**:

- An hourly wage of $23.06
- Weekly pay (Friday)
- A generous employee discount
- Vacation pay (4% of salary annully) which is paid back to the employee
