We are currently seeking an Receiving Team Lead, PM Shift (3:15pm - 11:00pm), for a 14 month contract who can be nice, will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey.

The Receiving Team Lead for Roots will be responsible for the following:

- Leading the daily receiving operation of the Receiving Dock
- Ensuring that established standards of receiving, maintenance, and productivity are being achieved
- Conduct daily start of shift meetings to ensure the team is informed and made aware of their daily objectives.
- Ensuring that operational procedures are being followed
- Ensuring staff is in compliance with all processes and procedures.
- Building a strong competent team
- Maintaining an accurate inventory
- Maintaining a healthy and safe environment
- Participate in off-loading containers
- 3-5 years of experience in receiving and warehousing
- Experienced leadership in being directly responsible for managing people & processes, providing guidance and/or mentorship
- Leadership, team building, strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create and communicate visions and ideas that inspires others to follow with commitment and dedication
- Efficiently and effectively reach productive results from leading a meeting
- Ability to stay calm and balanced in stressful, overwhelming situations
- Ability to bounce back from a misstep in your job or career
- Ability to work in a Distribution Centre environment from 3:15pm to 11:00pm
- Ability to lift 35lbs
- Overtime as required.
- First Aid and Forklift certification would be assets

**This role is eligible for**:

- An hourly wage of $22.50
- Afternoon shift premium of $0.50
- Weekly pay (Friday)
- A generous employee discount
- Vacation pay (4% of salary annually) which is paid back to the employee
