Focusing on showcasing our mission, our **Marketing Assistant **will channel key information and brand identity to further Patronscan’s mission in creating safer environment for everyone to enjoy. **Important Facts** - Role is located in **Calgary, AB **with hybrid working environment available. - This role will be reporting to the VP of Growth. **Day to Day Responsibilities** - Monitor and align with best practices and changes in the digital marketing world. - Support the design and redesign of sales / marketing collateral including brochures, flat sheets, technical data and presentations to support our sales process. - Assist in managing our social calendar, working with our marketing team to own all social media posts of Patronscan (_LinkedIn, Facebook, etc)._ - Analyze marketing data to help understand trends to contribute to the overall strategy. - Develop compelling content for website platforms that promotes Patronscan’s brand, values and work. - Collaborate with the podcast production team, assisting with video and photoshoots as needed. - Work closely with the content team and the Marketing Director to cooperate in all marketing initiatives. - Lead the organization and logistics of internal and external company events and attend applicable events. - Be an active part of the internal communications strategy and execution. - Other duties as assigned. **Working Conditions**: **Physical Requirements** - _**Strength Guidelines**_ This role does not require much lifting but occasionally when required, you may be required to lift various office supplies of up to 10lbs. - _**Motion Parameters**_ This role is within a hybrid working environment where you will be expected to sit or stand at a desk for hours at a time depending on structure of that day. This role can expect to include driving to and from events and miscellaneous business meetings. - Recent graduate of Visual Communications, Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing. - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and other creative tools, is preferred. - Previous experience with content marketing, social media management, content development, website management and/or SEO is an asset. - Passionate about technology and development. - Ability to quickly learn new software and has a strong grasp of technology. - Enjoys working in an intimate team setting and has an "all-for-one, one-for-all" mentality. - Natural level of personal investment in the quality of work they do and works to match the work of the team. - Be a self-starter who demonstrates a high degree of initiative, drive and energy. - Have excellent interpersonal, networking and time management skills. - Be motivated to excel in a dynamic and growing startup environment. - We are an Apple-centric company.
