**Position Summary**

The TCT (Toyota Certified Trainer) is responsible for delivery of Technical Training to Technicians based on the current Toyota Master Technician Program.

**Specific Accountabilities**
- Deliver TMH (Toyota Material Handling) Technical Training to Technician’s.
- Administer Bronze and Silver exams
- Train the technicians on Liftow specific training requirements such as A-plan, B-plan, LDI, emissions etc. (Preventative Maintenance)
- Attend Train the Trainer seminars at TMH factory (USA) as required to keep up to date on new products.
- Be able to manage training schedule timelines and prepare accordingly.
- Assist with other training related needs.
- Deliver Product knowledge training to assist Liftow Sales, ASR and ISR Team when needed.

**Qualifications**

**Education & Work Experience**

High school completion or equivalent education proficiency and at least 10 years’ experience as a Forklift Technician. Experience repairing Toyota Material Handling Equipment is required.

PLT (Powered Lift Truck) and/or Automotive 310S, Truck Coach 310T or Heavy Equipment 421A Journeyman Certification / license is required.

A valid driver’s license and ICE-IE-P propane license are required.

**Competencies and Skills**
- Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered. material handling equipment.
- Sound knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
- Knowledge of the use of electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with focus to detail.
- Comfortable presenting and delivery of course content to technicians in-class and/or virtual environment.
- Assist in course content development/update material as required.
- Sound knowledge of hydraulic principles.
- Proficient with engine management software.
- Certificate in Adult Education is an asset.

**Working Conditions**

The TCT will work mostly in an office/training environment. This role will require travel to other branches across Canada as required.
