**Salary Range**: $50,000-$55,000

**Location**:Hybrid Work From Home & Office (1788 West 8th Ave, Vancouver). Must be in the Lower Mainland area.

**Employment Type/Hours**:Full Time, 37.5 hours/week (Mon-Fri).

**About Canucks Autism Network**

Canucks Autism Network (CAN) is a charitable organization dedicated to providing programs for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, while promoting acceptance and inclusion through community engagement and training initiatives across BC. Our vision is for every individual on the autism spectrum to be understood, accepted and supported in all community spaces.

**Key Functions**
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism in interactions with CAN program participants, families, staff, volunteers, and target audience members
- Work with other departments and gain an understanding of schedules and events to answer general questions
- Answer general inquiries from visitors and office staff, directing them to appropriate resources as required
- Answer general phone lines, respond to general program inquiries from participants and families
- Coordinate the development of seasonal program guides
- Familiarize yourself with our registration system for creating new programs and events; send information updates about programs and/or events to families
- Communicate with the other departments and their upcoming events; create the outline of a monthly newsletter to then send to the Marketing and Communications department

**Qualifications**:

- At least one years’ experience in a professional office environment working in administration or reception preferred and/or
- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service or support role (experience working with autistic individuals is an asset)
- Positive demeanor, professional appearance, and professional attitude
- Superb customer service skills, able to handle a wide variety of questions, stay calm in an intense situation, and conduct follow-ups in a timely manner

- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organization skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines
- Attention to detail to be able to provide written communication to customers that free of spelling or grammatical errors
- Good data entry skill and able to maintain accuracy in gathering, recording, and organizing information
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the able to learn membership and registration software
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise and balance competing priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an office environment
- Passionate about Canucks Autism Network and its values and vision
