**Job Summary**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the processing team, including trimming and sanitation
- Maintains processing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational, and personnel policies and procedures as related to the production process
- Work closely with Cultivation team leads to ensure the highest quality production operations
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in order to improve and promote quality
- Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity
- Where applicable, must adhere to Aurora's SOPs and comply with Health Canada’s Cannabis Act. In addition, must adhere to all ISO requirements and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Maintain high level of morale, enthusiasm and quality
- Recognize unsafe conditions and practices and make corrections to prevent injuries and product loss
- Position details and activities may change from time to time in order to meet operational needs
- Actively and proactively engage in the ongoing management and improvement of Aurora’s quality system
- Where applicable, promote and maintain GMP requirements
- Other duties as required.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Comfortable working with Cannabis
- Physical effort is required, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as required
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms
- Comfortable working with step ladders (i.e. step ladder/single sided step ladder)
- Must be able to wear proper PPE (jump suits, safety glasses, hair nets, etc.)
- This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience working with cannabis considered an asset
- 3-5 years’ experience managing/supervising staff of 20+
- 2-4 years’ experience in a GMP/GDP environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to handle stress while performing multiple tasks
- Close attention to detail
- Must have ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Intermediate to excellent computer skills in MS Office
