Jo Hair Studio is a luxury wig and hair topper brand with studios in Toronto and Vancouver. We specialize in helping women facing hair loss look and feel their best — and we bring those stories to life through impactful content. We’re hiring a **technically skilled and creative In-House Content Creator** to lead our video, photo, and social media content production.

**Job description**

You’ll film and edit professional-quality short-form content for **Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook**. You’ll work directly in our studio to capture client transformations, product features, tutorials, and branded content.

This is **not just a creative role — you must have a strong technical foundation** in camera settings, lighting, file handling, editing software, and shooting workflows.

**Responsibilities**
- Capture professional-quality photo and video content (vertical and horizontal)
- Set up proper lighting, backdrops, camera angles, audio, and gear
- Edit short-form content using **CapCut, Canva, Final Cut, or Adobe Premiere**:

- Add branded elements (text overlays, subtitles, logos, call-to-actions)
- Optimize file exports for each platform and ensure consistent upload quality
- Organize content libraries and manage file naming, storage, and transfer
- Collaborate with the team on campaign needs, trends, and shoot schedules

**Required Skills & Experience**
- 3-5+ years experience in content creation or video production
- Strong knowledge of lighting, camera settings (manual exposure, frame rates), and audio basics
- Skilled with video editing tools like **CapCut, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or DaVinci Resolve**:

- Familiar with content optimization for **Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts**:

- Tech-savvy with file formats, cloud sharing (Google Drive, Dropbox), and basic colour correction
- Comfortable directing talent or clients on set
- Highly organized and efficient with content planning and editing
- Bonus: Familiarity with beauty, hair, or fashion industries

**Schedule & Studio Expectations**
- 5 days per week in-studio (Toronto)
- Must be comfortable filming live content, working alongside stylists and clients
