We are searching for a drive, detail-oriented content creator to produce high-quality
outputs for our business. The content creator will update existing material, generate
novel work, and identify new ways to reach consumers. You should also contribute to
the shaping on our stylistic guidelines.

To be a successful content creator, you should focus on appealing to consumers’
interests by creating engaging material. Ultimately, an exceptional content creator will
promote collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in our
company’s outputs.

Content creators promote companies' products and services by developing copy for
websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. They create both written and verbal media for both private and public consumption.

You can expect to:

- Brainstorming, planning, filming and editing content.
- Creating graphic posts.
- Writing, reviewing, editing and updating content for website, blog, all social media platforms.
- Working alongside our backend marketing team/ external vendors for design of promotional materials.
- Using social media to engage consumers, respond to their questions/ feedback and promote company initiatives; must be done daily for 30 minutes.
- Collaborating with our team to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks and identify and solve problems.
- Monitoring social media and company website metrics.
- Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
- Analyzing KPI’s and how we can improve them.
- Set weekly goals
- for yourself and the team and meeting them accordingly.
- Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and reach consumers.
- Working closely with our marketing consultant to ensure production of quality, engaging and cohesive content, consistency on social media platform; 2 hour weekly meetings required.
- Participating in weekly recap meetings with People Operations Manager.

Here are some things about you:

- Degree/ Diploma in marketing or a similar field.
- 2-3 years of experience in creating strong, engaging, fun content.
- Must have access to a few dogs to include them in content.
- Have a good understanding of SEO best practices.
- Demonstrate excellence in writing, proofreading and editing.
- Demonstrate excellent research, organizational and time management skills.
- Must obtain strong listening and communication skills.
- The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
- Part time time: starting out at 20-25 hours per week. Going forward we will assess to see if this is adequate time for marketing analysis and content creation.

Technical skills:

- Ability to use Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok
- Ability to follow an approved content schedule
- Ability to create trending, creative content
- Ability to analyze social media metrics

- We launched in August 2020 and have formulated 5 treat products up until now and are currently in the testing phase of our dog food.
