If you are talented in providing unprecedented service, are enthusiastic and a team player, we are looking for you. We are currently looking for an **Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable clerk** to join our **Finance **department and invite you to review the job description below.
- Please note this position is for a six month contract, with the possibility to extend up to 12 months_.
- **Duties & Responsibilities**_
- Processing payments of invoices including credit card transactions for both general and trust;
- Transferring any overpayments from our general account to our trust account;
- Daily review of online banking transactions to ensure that all deposits into our general and trust accounts are recorded in the accounting system, including following up items that are not yet recorded;
- Preparing transfers from trust to DLA Piper (Canada) LLP to pay invoices for our Vancouver and other offices;
- Sorting through advises received from banks on a daily basis;
- Entering vendor invoices daily;
- Entering expense reimbursement requests for payment in conjunction with payroll as well as Visa payments;
- Other miscellaneous tasks required from throughout the department
- **Knowledge, Qualities & Experience Required**_
- A minimum of 1 year equivalent work experience;
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word;
- Able to meet timely deadlines and ensure appropriate response times;
- Dedicated to providing quality customer support by providing service beyond expectation;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong ability to perform well and be unfailingly diplomatic in a high pressure environment with multiple internal clients;
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities required to prioritize a high volume of tasks and manage priorities.
