**About the Role**
International Logistics Coordinator
Full-time

Total Express is an International Freight Forwarding company that established in 1992 in Toronto, ON in Canada. Total Express has 5 locations nationwide in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. We are providing international freight forwarding service (air, ocean, border crossing, and project cargo) and 3PL warehousing service.

We are looking for qualified and enthusiastic professionals to join our growing team in the Toronto office, in the role of **Import Coordinator** in freight forwarding department

**How You’ll Help**
- Coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including booking, e-manifesting, Bills of Lading and billing.
- Review all shipment documentation to confirm accuracy and perform data input in system.
- Maintain strong and effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Tracking status with drayage carriers, ocean and air carriers and keeping clients/agents advised
- Mitigate additional charges and assist with maintaining the accuracy of carrier information.
- Responsible for the timely, accurate and appropriate escalation of issues.
- Work with analysts, managers, and customers to quickly resolve issues in the most efficient manner.
- Understand industry market conditions and communicate with the entire team issues that could impact operations as a whole.
- Other related duties as may be required.

**Your Skills & Experience**:

- Post-secondary education, preferably in business, transportation, and supply chain and logistics management is considered an asset.
- 1-2 years’ experience in freight forwarding experience will be an asset
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
- Advanced communication skills in English including the ability to relay information (verbal and written) between several parties and deliver a positive customer experience.
- Strong aptitude and skills with computers, including accuracy and efficiency in data entry and the use of MS Outlook, Excel & Word.
- CIFFA and IATA certifications an asset.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills, with the ability to evaluate current situation, respond quickly to changing requirements, and execute accordingly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced setting, multitask and prioritize in a deadline driven environment; appropriate sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate with others to meet customer expectations.
- Ability to work with little supervision.

**Salary**: $36,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
