The Group Benefits Marketing team delivers innovative digital marketing focusing on health and wellness benefits and experiences that help our customers live better, healthier lives, and build strong organizations. Reporting to the Marketing Director, Digital & Experience, the Marketing Manager (Optional Benefits) will develop and execute marketing collateral and campaigns for optional member products, which include Life, Critical Illness, and AD&D. Working in close collaboration with Product, Distribution, and Technology teams, the Marketing Manager will execute innovative marketing strategies to drive the growth of these products. In this capacity, you will be a key driver in increasing member and sponsor participation in optional benefits.

**Key responsibilities**:

- collaborate closely with the Product team in the creation and delivery of marketing strategies and campaigns
- write, edit, and generate high-quality omni-channel marketing collateral for external clients
- design, develop, and deliver digital marketing content using our agency and/or design software and tools
- collaborate closely with our creative agency to ideate, conceptualize, and craft innovative and impactful creative concepts and designs
- execute new and existing marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with targeted business metrics and objectives
- manage projects efficiently, working in a cross-functional environment while ensuring delivery deadlines met and content requirements in place
- collaborate with stakeholders to measure campaigns and report on program effectiveness

**Qualifications**:

- university or college study in marketing, communications, media, or related field of study
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years of experience in digital marketing
- experience in developing marketing materials and strategies to sales teams to increase sales of key products
- ability to analyze data and metrics to optimize marketing campaigns and measure effectiveness
- ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience needs
- strong communication skills, including ability to translate complex technical issues into fundamental concepts
- graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is considered an asset
- ability to work across a complex environment - both internally and externally to lead teams with multiple mandates and differing value drivers
- excellent writing, self-editing, and research skills
- proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams)
- experience in health or insurance industry is an asset
