**JOB TITLE**:Marketing Manager**

**REPORTS TO: President/General Manager**

**OVERVIEW**
This position is primarily responsible managing select Strategic Accounts partner marketing to
intensify Birkenstock brand presence. This position will also manage the Independent co-op
program for select Territory Managers as well as light PR duties.

**RESPONSIBILITIES **

Manages co-op/Brand marketing funds for select for the Canadian marketplace and
Territory Managers.

Point of contact for select Strategic and Independent account marketing needs.

Works with Strategic Accounts Managers to develop yearly co-op budget and to develop
seasonal marketing calendars for key accounts

Works with Strategic Account Managers and Manager of SA Merchandising to create
seasonal contests and campaigns

Fulfills needs of Strategic Accounts merchandising team

Works with Senior Creative Service Manager on seasonal creative ideation

Oversees Marketing file management, internally and on Box and DAL

Additional projects as assigned.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Design

or related field;
- 5 years related experience and, or training; or equivalent combination of education and

experience.
- Moderate travel is required including international travel, trade shows, retailer visits,

seminars, special events, vendor visits, etc.
- 5 years of experience in general marketing, either in-house or agency, strong creative

background.
- Knowledge of Database Software, Internet Software, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe

Suite, Photo Shop, InDesign and Basecamp.
- Background within the retail industry preferred, footwear industry experience a plus
- Leadership, people and project management skills and experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills are crucial.
- Self-motivated, proactive and solution oriented
- Effective communications skills across all functions and levels of personnel.
- Good judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet

deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required.
- Ability to occasionally lift and, or move up to 20 pounds.
