RDM Enterprises Ltd. is a first-class growing excavation and civil contractor operating in the Lower Mainland with projects throughout the lower Mainland.

Due to our growing demand, we are looking to hire an ambitious, dedicated and thorough Project Manager/Civil Estimator to add to our Project Management team.

This position will report to the Construction Manager, Senior Estimator or designate.

**The Project Manager/Civil Estimator** provides support and assistance to the projects. Responsibilities are varied but include document control, full estimates start to finish, updating project reporting tools, quantity take offs.

**Primary / Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Performs duties related to site administration including management of project related information and documentation, maintenance of project files.

2. Review all bid opportunities and keep track of deadlines

3. Attend pre-bid meetings to prepare accurate estimates

4. Perform area calculations based on drawings and specifications

5. Complete material take-offs using AGTEK.

6. Assist the Senior Estimator in preparing thorough bid packages for clients

7. Collaborate with the Project Management team in preparing submissions

8. Review data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized lists

9. Review project contracts, plans, specs, and details

10. Perform other duties as required

11. Tracking and documenting project schedule activity, start, finish and major milestones.

12. Performs other related administrative or project-based duties as assigned.

13. Build and Maintain relationships with Clients

14. Assists Construction Manager with Developing New Business

15. Create Scheduling using Micro Soft Project.

16. Learn and use B2W software exclusively for all estimates.

**Job Qualifications**:
1. Graduation from a recognized post-secondary engineering or technical program in a related field.

2. Exceptional analytical, planning, problem solving and organizational skills

3. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work to deadlines

4. Ability to build relationships and work effectively with a team

5. Self-motivated, innovative, committed and honest

6. Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

7. Attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture

8. Clean driving record and ability to travel as required.

Rate of pay is industry standard for all applicants based on their skill level.

**Salary**: $110,000.00 to $135,000.00/year based on experience.

**Qualifications**:
Diploma or Certificate recognized in Canada.

Estimating experience in the civil construction industry is a strong asset.

Must be proficient in Blue Beam, B2W, AGTEK. Microsoft Excel.

Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, project teams, and subtrades.

**Education**:Bachelor’s degree preferred or Equivalent Experience.
