**THE POSITION**

The Team Services and Community Relations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Calgary Roughnecks' operational and outreach efforts. This position is responsible for coordinating team logistics, managing player and staff needs, and fostering meaningful connections between the team and the Calgary community.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Coordinate and advise CSEC staff and community partners on community/charitable programs and the Roughnecks Foundation Initiatives
- Manage and Coordinate Community Player Appearances, School visits, ALA Lacrosse Literacy Player Appearances and all media requests and appearances.
- Manage and oversee Roughnecks Academy Camps including registrations, camp communications, CSEC PT staff/interns as needed, facility bookings, order and organize camp materials (pinnies, shirts, etc.)
- Work with General Manager on travel budget and season planning,
- Work with the General Manager to coordinate, book and execute home and away travel for team events including training camp, regular season, playoffs. This includes booking flights, ground transportation, hotels, per diems and other tasks related to team travel.
- Assist General Manager with player and staff expenses.
- Oversee and lead part time game day game operations and staff including ball boys, benchwarmers, off floor officials and photographers.
- Produce and distribute media guide, media releases, and publications for the Calgary Roughnecks.
- Produce and assist with providing statistical information including game notes, rosters. and stats for all Roughnecks Games per NLL guidelines.
- Coordinate all player appearances and media requests on Game Nights.
- Active participation in the Safety Program and follow all safety rules;
- Other duties as assigned.

**THE INDIVIDUAL**
- 3 years of media and communications experience.
- The position requires you to be approachable and have strong relationship management experience.
- You must be a people person, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) along with the ability to work in a team environment that thrives on customer service atmosphere.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, while maintaining key relationships throughout the entire organization.
- This position is considered a development role to grow knowledge within Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation.
- Post-secondary education in communications or business preferred.

**This position will remain open until 3:00pm Friday, October 10th, 2025.**
