KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Floor Operations:

- Educate oneself and stay alert to new trends in the world of coffee and the bikes we sell
- Uphold high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality
- Enforce food safety and hygiene protocols
- Conduct regular floor inspections and maintain checklists
- Collaborate with baristas on seasonal drink features and specials
- Adjust menu pricing based on profitability and customer trends
- Coordinate with the service department to keep customers informed
- Schedule staff and manage daily floor coverage
- Ensure test bikes are clean, functional, and ready for demo rides
- Maintain stock levels and minimize waste across cafe and retail
- Oversee restocking and merchandising displays
- Lead onboarding and training
- Assist with customer sales appointments
- Handle cafe laundry and linens
- Train new baristas

Admin and Inventory (CIN7):

- Order supplies (coffee, milk, pastries, etc.)
- Track daily sales and assist in financial reporting
- Set and monitor sales targets
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and stock fulfillment
- Conduct inventory control and stock takes
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Track partial payments and stock levels
- Perform daily cashouts and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Maintain Dext workflow for expense management

Website Assistance:

- Create and update product listings
- Monitor stock levels and remove unavailable items
- Ensure accurate product descriptions, specs, and pricing
- Maintain SEO metadata for improved discoverability
- Perform quality control across digital inventory

Marketing Support:

- Contribute to event planning and execution
- Share ideas and assist with content for social media and marketing channels

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista in a third-wave shop
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role in retail, hospitality, or a similar environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Confident using digital systems (experience with CIN7 and e-commerce platforms an asset)
- Passion for bikes, coffee, and community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 34 per week
