**THE JOB: Analyst, Physician Business Services (6 Month Contract)**

The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.

Starting Salary Range: $62,703 - $78,380

Reporting to the Manager, Physician Business Services the Analyst, Physician Business Services (PBS) is responsible for supporting the Physician Business Services team as a whole with analysis and reporting to inform the EAN Department and Doctors of BC on specific activities and issues arising related to Physician Business Services program. This includes providing support by conducting research, drafting reports, briefing notes and participating in meetings with departments, members, Government, Health Authorities and other agencies. This role will work collaboratively with other Doctors of BC teams to ensure integration with existing reporting, communication, negotiations, knowledge exchange and provincial support structures.

The Analyst, PBS will be responsible for all Physician Business Services reporting requirements to the Doctors of BC, as well will work on a range of ad hoc projects addressing any issues as needed. The Analyst will support the Physician Business Services, and will ensure physicians, partners and stakeholders are connected to information and services that support the program. Additionally the Analyst will be supporting the Physician Business Services Oversight Committee (PBSOC) tasks, projects, and agenda items. This role will require someone who has a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.

- Identifies potential areas of conflicting priorities and vulnerability in achieving standards.
- Reviews department’s progress against established goals, objectives, service level targets, and project
- Supports others in achieving deliverables by efficiently allocating resources and providing common organizing systems, techniques, and disciplines.
- Maintains a proactive work review and approval process prior to assignment completion.
- Solicits internal and external customer evaluation of performance and devises measures for improvement.
