**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to meet their needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments.
- Assist with merchandising by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented to attract shoppers.
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves regularly and notifying supervisors of low stock or discrepancies.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely.
- Support supervisory staff by supervising team members during shifts when needed, ensuring smooth store operations.
- Engage in basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, and promotions.
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, enhancing their shopping experience.
- Promote upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery stores is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures ensures smooth transaction processing.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are necessary for engaging with customers and team members alike.
- Demonstrated supervising experience is a plus, indicating leadership potential within the team.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette are crucial for building lasting relationships.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales transactions, discounts, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and stocking procedures helps maintain an attractive store environment.
