Accounting Consultant with Quickbooks Online

We are looking for experienced, superstar Accounting Consultants with QuickBooks Online experience to join our team

Targeted Accounting is a fast paced and progressive accounting service business which prides itself on transporting companies into the world of automation through the many apps and features available to the bookkeeping world. We serve clients across Canada at a client’s or our own offices and even virtually from your own home office. Head office is in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We provide our bookkeeping services to small entrepreneurial companies on an as-needed basis.

We only use QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online so you must have minimum 3 years hands on Canadian experience with at least the QuickBooks desktop software. All applicants are required to write our online “Accounting/QuickBooks” test to determine your knowledge and capabilities. You must have passed the Intuit Advanced QBO certification that can be taken through them for free.

This position requires a unique individual who is looking for something different. The position is a hands-on consultant to entrepreneurial companies as well as a mentor to staff bookkeepers.

The consulting work requires someone who can do some or all of the following:

- Creative Problem solving to assist entrepreneurs to make appropriate business decision based on their financials
- Engage clients to ensure their needs are met and to initial conversations on what things they may need but are not aware of changes to the industry
- Project work such as cash flow set up, accounting procedure review to determine what new technology could be utilized as well as make processes more efficient, business plans
- Assist the bookkeeping staff with accounting issues that arise
- Review of bookkeeping staff work at quarterly and year end reporting times including the completion of a year end file to send to client’s accountants

This is ideal for a CPA, CGA, CMA, CA or very seasoned accountant that likes the day to day accounting of entrepreneurial companies.

Our clients range in size from a single entrepreneur to our average clients having approximately 10-25 employees.

**We use QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for the most part so you must have minimum 3 years hands on experience with these programs.** Year End accounting firm experience a real asset. Client Management experience an asset.

Our position is a full-time, 4-5 days per week position. Three weeks of vacation are provided in addition to benefits.

**Salary**: $125,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
