**Objectives**:
Provide overall management of coordination and layout of various aspects of the construction including road, water, sewer and building projects with a high level of accuracy, ensuring the design criteria is adhered to and well documented. Enforce company and project policies. Perform all functions and responsibilities in accordance with Varcon’s values and beliefs.

**Essential Functions/Responsibilities**:
1. Lead and oversea survey team to ensure project success, delivery deadlines and technical accuracy. Schedule and monitor surveying activities, handle requests, and obtain necessary data.

2. Develop processes to enhance efficiency and quality, conduct reviews and collaborate with other departments.

3. Manage equipment, lead training sessions, and ensure quality through regular reviews.

4. Responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of the survey operations - from resource allocation and budgeting to equipment management and cross department collaboration.

5. Maintain and enhance the performance of the survey team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, industry standards and regulatory requirements.

6. Coordinate and undertake planning and implementation of survey requirements to facilitate construction activities.

7. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at project sites.

8. Create GPS files from CAD files for civil projects, download and maintain GPS files in Field equipment and data collectors.

9. Prepare data, charts, plots, maps, records and documents related to surveys for use by the Construction Superintendent and Foreman.

10. Maintain accurate survey records, documentation and stamped submittals.

11. Maintain survey equipment, GPS & Total Station, and ensure they are calibrated and kept in good working order.

12. Provide clear communication with client in a professional manner.

Pay: $100,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
