**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- Process accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely payments to employees.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
- Prepare reports for management that summarize financial status and performance metrics.
- Perform mass clean-up for new clients
- Assist in Tax Preparation
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and account reconciliation techniques.
- Experience with payroll processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices and account analysis methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
