Mississauga, Canada Rosedale Transport Full time

**Rosedale Transport, Mississauga Terminal is looking to hire an experienced GTA dispatcher.**
- Only qualified applicants with the outlined experience will be contacted for an interview._

**Work Week**: Monday to Friday, 13:00 PM till 10:00PM.

**Salary**: 60/70K

**Requirements**:

- Previous dispatch experience in the transportation industry (min. 3 years).
- Knowledge of the GTA and surrounding area
- Ability to effectively manage up to 40 drivers.
- Flexible with shift work to assist with coverage within the department when staff on holidays, sickness etc.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, organized
- Strong computer skills

**Essential Skills**:
Reading text, document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Truckmate TMW systems, Cross Boarder Applications, P.I.P., Ace, C-TPAT Protocol, E-hours of service.

**Dispatcher Specific skills**:
Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operator, crews and equipment, Act as liaison between customers and drivers, Coordinate with Dock operations, Keep track of shipments, Follow up on any issues, Prioritize workload accordingly, Operate computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment, Process and transmit information and instructions, provide delivery routing feedback, Knowledge of hours of service regulations.
