Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a social science, data analytics, or a related field with an emphasis on research methodology, is required. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated skills in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large amounts of complex data efficiently to produce accurate results.
- Fluent in programming languages to extract and manage data (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and analyze large datasets.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills. Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills.
- High degree of ethics and sound judgment to manage sensitive, confidential, or contentious information.
- Superior collaboration skills, with a strong service orientation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in survey research, including project management, client management, and timeline management, as well as questionnaire design, sample design, statistical analysis and report-writing for a non-technical audience.
- Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with the post-secondary sector and experience with academic and administrative processes and systems, including quality assurance frameworks.
- Experience in conducting labor market research, identifying and interpreting industry trends for the purposes of strategic academic program development and enrolment management.
- Experience with project and program evaluation.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Additional Information
- This is a regular, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. This position has been evaluated at MPT-C with a salary range of $76,430 (minimum) to $89,820 (midpoint) to $103,209 (maximum) per annum. Employment offers will normally be made between the minimum and midpoint of the range and are determined by knowledge, experience and internal equity.
