We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

In the role of Microsoft Data Analytics Consultant, you will provide industry best practices to support our Canadian clients with deliverables that are focused on the Microsoft Analytics technology stack. You are adept at the entire software development lifecycle from facilitating requirements gathering sessions, creating solution designs (including ETL, semantic layer, and reporting), and managing deployments into multiple environments. You are experienced at developing solutions for on-premises solutions using tools such as SSIS, SSAS (Tabular), SSRS, and Power BI. Your T-SQL skills are intermediate to senior level.

**Basic Qualifications**
- **Possess a college diploma or university degree focused on computer science, or equivalent experience**:

- **Minimum six (6) years’ experience working with on-premises Microsoft data warehouse solutions**:

- **Minimum five (5) years’ experience designing dimensional models (i.e. Kimball methodology)**:

- **Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote work scenario**

**Mandatory Qualifications**
- **Experience working with SQL Server (2019 preferred), including DML and DDL**:

- **Six (6) years’ experience working with T-SQL**:

- **Five (5) years’ experience developing ETL solutions using a combination of SSIS and SSMS (stored procedures, functions, etc.)**:

- **Five (5) years’ experience developing Semantic Layers utilizing tools such as SSAS Tabular models, and/or Power BI data sets**:

- **Five (5) years’ experience designing and developing reporting solutions for on-premises architectures utilizing tools such as SSRS and Power BI**

**Nice to Have Qualifications**
- **Fundamental understanding of the Power BI administration and governance framework**:

- **Experience integrating analytic content into SharePoint, specifically Power BI, Excel, and SSRS**:

- **Microsoft Azure cloud experience in particular Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services and Azure Synapse Analytics**
